There are Deaf clubs in Shrewsbury and Telford; while Hard of Hearing clubs are run in Market Drayton, Shrewsbury, Telford and Whitchurch.

Telford Hard of Hearing Club
We are a small friendly group who meet on the first Tuesday of each month (except January) 10.30 am to 12 Noon at Hadley Methodist Church, High Street, Hadley, Telford, TF1 5NG. Admission is £1 and 50p for refreshments; we also have a raffle. New members can be sure of a very warm welcome.
Shrewsbury Hard of Hearing Group
We meet on the 2nd Monday of the month at the United Reformed Church Hall, Coleham Head, Shrewsbury,SY3 7 BJ. We have a varied programme of speakers followed by tea and biscuits and a lot of chat. We aim provide information on hard of hearing matters. We always close the meeting with a raffle and a joke! We are a friendly group who all understand the problems of being hard of hearing. We have a loop and a text- to- screen system in operation.
Market Drayton Hard of Hearing Club
Market Drayton Hard of Hearing Club meetings are held on the first Monday in the month at 2.30pm at Methodist Rooms, Clive Road, Market Drayton, Shropshire. There is friendship and support to combat loneliness and a feeling of isolation. Outings and parties are arranged and help with lipreading and hearing aids is also available. Home made refreshments are available at the meetings. Annual subscription is £5.00.
